2015: Year in review

well, for starters…2015 was an amazing season!  Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of it!  It was also the busiest season for me so far and I deeply apologize if I wasn’t able to fit someone in during the peak of the season.  I had an opportunity to photograph so many incredible couples and I knew the majority of them from 2014 engagement shoots or from the previous weddings I photographed.  2015 was full of familiar faces.

Jess and Tim’s NYE wedding was a perfect opening of the season!

The year started from my winter family and engagement shoots.  It was actually the first year when I truly discovered the magic of winter shoots.  Spring was always my favorite time to photograph because of the blooming trees, but now I am in between those 2 seasons.  Winter shoots are just magical! 004 005 006 007 008 009 010 011 012 013 014 015

The other discovery for me this year were boudoir sessions.  I did several boudoir shoots in 2014, but this year I really got into it and it quickly became one of my favorite type of sessions.  Unfortunately, I can’t brag with those pictures on the public blog, so you just have to trust me on that 😉   016 017

Talking about Spring.  Always love doing sessions during Spring, always will be.  If only Spring in Pittsburgh could last more than few weeks! For 2016 I deliberately scheduled half as less weddings for May, so I could capture more of those blooming trees  <3

Steph and Randy’s wedding was a first wedding after a big weddingless break.

I had an urge to buy a greasy cheeseburger and soda on a way to New York wedding I was shooting in May.  And that’s how I learned that I was pregnant.  The wedding was indescribable btw, not every day I get to shoot in Japanese garden by the ocean.  Definitely one of a kind experience for me! 098 099 100 101 102 103
