Kelsey and Nick have been together for five and a half years. They first met when Kelsey moved to Plum when they were in 10th grade. Although they were not close friends, they were acquaintances throughout high school, and Kelsey remembers Nick as always being a funny guy who was nice to everyone he came in contact with. They lost touch after high school for a while, until the summer of both of their 21st birthdays. They began hanging out with mutual friends here and there, and the rest is really history! They began dating in February of 2011, and soon came to find out that their families had actually known each other for years, and that It really is a small world after all. They initially moved in together in the summer of 2012. Once they found a home that was pet friendly, and also due to their mutual love for dogs, together they rescued their beloved Pit bull mix, Luna in May of 2014. That December Nick then proposed to Kelsey on top of a lookout in Mt. Washington, which was adorned with rose petals, a beautiful sign, and her family eagerly waiting to capture the moment for them. “It truly was the most romantic moment ever. We were supposed to be going to dinner with my parents, sister, and her boyfriend, to celebrate my academic accomplishment of finishing my two year degree, and the continuation of getting my bachelors in teaching, but instead we got to celebrate so much more than that! It is definitely a night I will never forget!” Said Kelsey. They recently purchased their first home, and are both very excited about what their life together has in store for them. They are looking forward to starting a family of their own in the future, and of course that means two legged and more four legged children!
This 2 year old ring-bearer did such a good job by walking down very long aisle all by himself!
The next 3 b&w shots might be my favorite moments from the wedding!
We literally had only 15 min for bride & groom portraits, but these guys totally nailed it!
Kelsey has an incredible voice!
