How they met
We went to high school together but never actually met back then. Connor tried to talk and flirt with me a few times and I turned him down (LOL).
It was a few years later that I was traveling in Germany and received a message from Connor back home. I was excited to hear from him as it felt like so much time had passed since we last spoke.
Connor and I continued to speak while I was in Germany and we were quick to meet in person as soon as I returned home.
I remember the first time I met him after speaking for several days. It felt like I found something I didn’t know I was looking for. It felt to me that he was meant to be part of my life.
I knew from that moment that we would be together for the rest of our lives. I couldn’t imagine being without him. I couldn’t believe I met the love of my life after he was right in front of my face all those years!
We dated for 4 years before he surprised me with a proposal – I did not see it coming! We spoke about getting married for years but were unsure of the best timing.
Before we left for vacation, Connor told me he was going to begin saving for a ring. Little did I know he already bought the ring and had the proposal planned!
A couple days later, he proposed at sunrise on the beach around friends and family. I literally thought I was dreaming!
We dated for just over 5 years before we were married this November.
