Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer devoted to capturing weddings with artistry and intention. For the past 17 years, I’ve shared life with my best friend and husband, and together we’re raising two spirited boys. Beyond photography, I love adventuring, traveling, staying active through sports, and spending time outdoors.
My creative journey began with a strong background in art, long before photography found me. While studying for my graduate degree, I unexpectedly fell in love with the camera—and I’m grateful it happened that way. Years of artistic training and time spent climbing the corporate ladder shaped my perspective before photography ultimately stole my heart and became my true calling. Looking back, I believe it was always meant to be.
I had incredible art teachers, and I can honestly say I would never be at the level I am today without the strong foundation and diverse art background they gave me. Classical art training shaped everything—giving me control over composition and light, and teaching me to see details that might otherwise be overlooked. My education followed the traditional European atelier system, beginning with rigorous drawing and sculpting before ever moving into paint. Years of studying plaster anatomy, exploring the effects of light on form and color, and sculpting and painting still lifes instilled in me a deep understanding of tonality and illumination.
That foundation gave me an edge in wedding photography from the very beginning. Over the years, it allowed me to move beyond trends and define a style of my own—something I’m forever grateful for. My style has matured throughout 15 years in the industry. Initially, I was drawn to the aesthetic of fine art, influenced heavily by my European background and classical training. Fashion, elegance, and refinement inspired me deeply, but over time, I realized I wanted more than just beauty—I wanted to capture what a moment felt like.
The spontaneous movements. The bursts of joy. Goosebumps and tears during vows.
Today, my clients describe my work as polished and glamorous yet deeply authentic. They appreciate that their gallery not only has a sophisticated, editorial finish but also captures their essence, their laughter, and the unique story of their day. It is often said that photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding. For me, they are a legacy—a timeless capsule of love and emotion to be passed down.
Dream Clients
I am so happy to say that I am already working with my dream clients: smart, easy-going brides with a strong aesthetic sense and impeccable taste. Most of my couples either have a passion for art, home décor, fashion, or design—or they carefully “cherry-pick” the very best vendors for their wedding day so they can be fully present and enjoy every moment, while we take care of the rest.
I feel truly blessed that my brides not only share my vision but often become long-term friends. Many of my weddings include multiple couples I’ve photographed before, and it’s such an honor to see familiar faces celebrating new milestones together. Beyond weddings, you’ll find maternity and family sessions featured on my blog, often with my return clients. It’s humbling to be invited into your lives to document your most important day and then continue as your family photographer for years to come.
