Brightest moments:

1. The first looks!

I am so thankful that we were able to have private first looks on Hotel Monaco’s roof top and I would do it a million times over if I could! The first look with my dad and brother was extremely special and unexpectedly emotional, but I’m so glad we were able to have that moment together. The first look with Bob was absolutely amazing and gave us some private time prior to the ceremony. I also loved that we took most of our photos before the ceremony because that allowed Bob and I to spend time together and soak in the moment before the craziness began.

2. Walking down the aisle!

I didn’t think walking down the aisle would be that emotional since Bob and I spent so much time together prior to the ceremony, but I was wrong! The brightest image I have in my head of our wedding day is walking down the aisle (song was Latch by Natalie Taylor), with the dark seeping through the glass and seeing all of our siblings next to Bob surrounded in a sea of candles.

3. Our Vows!

Loved loved loved writing our own vows. Honestly, throughout the entire ceremony I forgot anyone else was in the room. It really just felt like Bob and I in the moment.

4. Stop what you’re doing and take it all in!

There were multiple moments in the night that Bob pulled me aside to stop what we were doing and just look out at everyone who was there for us and to actually soak in that this was our wedding.

5. Christmas Music!

Since we had a winter wedding, we definitely wanted to sprinkle in Christmas music. The last song of the night was Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays by *NSYNC and it just got everyone hype for the after party and was the perfect song for the vibe of the wedding.
