Brad and I met on a Sunday morning walking down East Carson Street in Southside in October 2016. I was walking with one of my friends/college roommates and I remember seeing him walking towards us and thinking “Oh my gosh who is this handsome guy?!” My friend immediately called his name, and it turned out that not only did she and Brad go to high school together, but we had lived a block from him the whole time! My friend introduced us to each other. Brad ended up inviting us to a little Halloween get together that he and his roommates were having the following weekend. The next weekend rolls around, I get into my banana suit and we make the short walk to his house. We ended up talking and laughing the whole night away, into the early morning – we’ve been inseparable since!
